We especially enjoy this bread as french toast on Sunday mornings.Ingredients: Organic wheat flour, high gluten flour, granulated sugar, dry malt (malted barley flour, wheat flour, dextrose), white sourdough starter, sugar, salt, raisins (raisins, sunflower oil), pecans, fresh yeast, dry yeast, water, trace amounts of food release spray (sunflower oil, sunflower lecithin, natural flavor & propellant). Texas French Bread offers bread made with 100% organic base flour, much of it in the form of locally grown heirloom wheat varieties milled at Barton Springs Mill.

Judy Willcott opened Texas French Bread in Austin, Texas in 1981, showcasing her delicious European-style baguettes and artisan breads. Over the last four decades, it has become an Austin institution, establishing itself as an integral part of the local food community, a well-loved dining destination for generations of families, and a pioneer of farm-to-table eating.

Murph and Carissa Willcott, and their outstanding team continue the family tradition with their scratch bakery & bistro and farmers' market booths. Their fresh baked breads, including buttery danishes, flaky croissants, and English muffins, are made with organic flours and locally grown heirloom wheat that's milled by old world techniques on giant stone wheels at Barton Springs Mill.
