Lummi Island Wild King salmon portions have a rich and buttery flavor with soft-textured flakes and a velvety finish. The fish’s high oil content makes it a prime candidate for grilling, broiling, sautéing, baking, poaching, steaming, and smoking – almost every salmon preparation will taste good on a king. Try grilling it with a sprinkle of sea salt and finishing with fresh lemon juice and ground black pepper.

These fish are locally, wild-caught by Salish Sea fishers. Orca Safe Salmon means the fish you are eating has been caught in a terminal area, meaning close to the salmon’s river of origin, which prevents any impact on Orca food availability. Orca Safe Salmon also means the fish you are eating has been caught by sustainable gear with little or no by-catch, in a fishery carefully controlled by Tribal, Federal and/or State fisheries managers.
